Sarah Gallo is the Director of Federal Affairs for CHS Inc. Government Affairs. She is responsible for representing the company’s interests on issues related to trade, agriculture and agronomy at the federal level by connecting with members of Congress, congressional staff and federal agencies. She builds and maintains CHS involvement in coalitions beneficial to cooperatives while also providing support to CHS business units and the CHS Board of Directors. She is based out of the CHS Government Affairs office in Washington D.C.
Prior to joining CHS in 2013, Sarah was director of public policy for the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) in Washington D.C., where she focused on biotechnology and trade policy. Before that, she served as agriculture counsel with the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Small Business and as a government relations representative for the National Farmers Union. Sarah graduated from Boston University with a bachelor's degree in marine biology.
